Plug Face
A tall necked head, with a three-pin plug for a mouth. Plug Face was an enjoyable challenge from start to finish. The materials had to withstand frost and weather, the size needed to be considered, balancing the weight so that it didn't topple was important, and the installation had to be secure.

This was made as a comment on our dependence of electricity, the face looks up to the sun, and absorbs its power.
Some 800 mm tall, this is a striking sculpture, currently on show at York College.
The pink colour was inspired by the pink glow observed in nuclear fusion reactors (tokamaks).
